CDW Healthcare Honored for Technology in Aging Efforts
The American Society on Aging has awarded CDW Healthcare with its first "Technology in Aging Award." American Society on Aging will present the award on March 26 recognizing the organization for “making a difference in the lives of older adults," McKnights reports.
What set CDW Healthcare apart, according to the organization, is its ability to be at “the forefront of helping organizations and individuals leverage technology to support aging in place and improve overall quality of life.” Most recently, the tech vendor has been a key partner in the Thrive Innovation Center in Louisville, Ky., which provides a testbed for technology impacting the senior community.
“CDW Healthcare is pleased to engage with healthcare providers to empower technology for better care, coordination and outcomes for seniors,” Christine Holloway, vice president of healthcare sales, CDW, said in a release, McKnight's reports. “We are proud to receive this award and support ASA's mission of improving the quality of life of these populations.”
