Apple-Watch Connected Hearing Aids Enable Remote Adjustments

A new app for GN Hearing’s IoT-connected hearing aid allows users to control settings from their iPhone or Apple Watch.

The ReSound LiNX 3D hearing aid includes Smart Fit software that enables remote fine-tuning and hearing aid updates by a physician after an initial fit at a clinic. Moreover, an app available for iOS and select Android models aims to give users the ability to personalize their controls on the go from their smartphone or smartwatch.

“The app empowers users to take even more control of their hearing experience through a built-in guidance and coaching feature, and gives users direct access to their hearing care professional for efficient optimization without the need for an appointment in a clinic,” GN Hearing said in a press release.
