Healthcare’s AI Expansion Calls for a More Connected Security Strategy

Providers need visibility into embedded artificial intelligence, connected defenses and targeted automation to protect patient data as AI-powered threats evolve.

Artificial intelligence is becoming part of the clinical applications, patient services and research environments on which healthcare organizations depend. Protecting those capabilities requires security teams to understand where AI is operating, how it interacts with organizational data and whether existing defenses can keep pace with faster attacks.

Malicious actors are also using AI to accelerate established techniques, including social engineering and vulnerability exploitation.
